- Breastfeeding is best for your baby. Breast milk has an ideal composition, helps to protect against infections and allergies and at the same time promotes the mother-child relationship. Breastfeeding is also the cheapest form of nutrition. The earlier and more frequently you breastfeed your baby, the sooner the milk flow will start.
- A balanced diet during pregnancy and after delivery favours breastfeeding. The decision not to breastfeed is difficult to reverse and supplementing with formula can affect the success of breastfeeding. Talk to your paediatrician or midwife if you want to use formula. Directions for use
- Preparation:Please follow the instructions for use carefully when preparing infant formula. Wash hands thoroughly first. Add BEBA FM85 to breast milk warmed to body temperature and shake well for approx. 30 seconds. Prepare the food fresh before each meal and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftover food.
- Drinking quantity & dosage: The amount of Nestlé BEBA FM 85 added is adapted to the individual needs of the infant. Adding 4 g of Nestlé BEBA FM 85 to 100 ml of breast milk increases the energy content to approx. 85 kcal.
- Standard dosage: 1 scoop = 1 g Nestlé BEBA FM 85 to 25 ml expressed breast milk. It is recommended to increase the dosage over a period of 5-7 days from 1 g Nestlé BEBA FM 85/100 ml to 4 g Nestlé BEBA FM 85/100 ml.
