NOBITE® Thinner, 100 ml

Insect repellent for the impregnation of clothing and mosquito nets against mosquitoes, gnats and ticks.

NOBITE Thinner is ideal for impregnating mosquito nets, utility textiles or even large quantities of clothing. With the contents of the 100 ml bottle, up to 4 kg of textiles can be impregnated evenly and easily before travelling. The mosquito repellent is suitable for all types of fabric and contains the active ingredient permethrin (5%). NOBITE Thinner can be used for children from the age of 2. Please read the safety and application instructions and information on correct dilution before use.

Our tip: Mix 100 ml thinner with 200 ml water in a spray bottle. This can be used to impregnate up to 15 items of clothing.

Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information before use.

If you impregnate your mosquito nets, mosquitoes will not settle on the net. In addition, a knock-out effect occurs when the mosquito touches the mosquito net and the mosquito falls off. When you sleep, unprotected areas of skin could come into contact with the net. If it has not been impregnated, a mosquito can bite through the net. There is also a risk of a mosquito getting under the net by lifting it.

• Treat the clothes 2 hours before wearing them so that they are dry and odourless. Shake the bottle well and spray at a distance of at least 40 cm. The protection lasts up to 4 weeks against insects and 2 weeks against ticks. After washing, the clothes should be re-impregnated to maintain the repel effect (see below)!
• Impregnation of mosquito nets: Soak the net in a solution of 1 litre of water and the contents of a bottle of Nobite thinner (100 ml) and leave to dry. The impregnation lasts for 2 months.

Notes: About 40 % of mosquito bites occur through clothing. The treated clothing has a double protective effect: a knock-out effect on contact and a repellent effect (repel effect). In clinical studies, protection of 75 % against malaria and 79 % against leishmaniasis was achieved with impregnated clothing alone. Impregnating clothing provides a very high level of protection against ticks, reducing the risk of a tick bite by more than seventy times.
