NICApur® Sleep Capsules are a dietary supplement containing an extract from the ashwagandha root (sleep berry) and the body's own substance melatonin as well as vitamin B6 and the mineral magnesium.

Sleep is an important part of our lives. We "oversleep" around a third of our lives - but this time is anything but "pointless": our body uses this resting phase to recharge its batteries and regenerate physical and mental strength. Unfortunately, good sleep and falling asleep easily is not a matter of course. Stress, worries and anxiety, but also an age-related decline in the production of melatonin can make it difficult to enter the land of dreams.

The sleep-wake rhythm is controlled by the body's own substance melatonin. Formed in the pineal gland of the brain, melatonin is released into the blood in a certain rhythm depending on light and thus informs the body about day and night phases. Melatonin is primarily released during the hours of darkness. With increasing age, the body's own melatonin production decreases.

Directions

• Take 1 capsule daily with plenty of liquid shortly before going to bed.
• Advice: Do not take during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not take at the same time as sleep-inducing medication or medication containing fluvoxamine or cimetidine.

Ingredients

• Ingredients: Ashwagandha root extract (sleeping berry), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell), magnesium citrate, magnesium oxide, magnesium gluconate, magnesium carbonate, melatonin, pyridoxine hydrochloride.
• Composition per daily dose (1 capsule) %NRV*: Magnesium 75.0 mg 20, vitamin B6 0.7 mg 50, melatonin 1 mg -, ashwagandha extract 300 mg - * % of the reference quantity according to EU regulation 1169/2011.
