Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids and are among the vital ingredients in our diet. Our body can produce small amounts of the two omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) itself from ALA (alpha-linolenic acid). The rest of our EPA and DHA requirements must be covered by our diet. Omega-3 fatty acids are mainly found in fish and fish products. Supplementation in the form of food supplements can be useful if you eat a diet low in fish. The polyunsaturated fatty acids found in fish oil are important for our body. They support the maintenance of heart and brain function, vision, normal blood pressure and triglyceride levels.

Directions for use

For children aged 4 years and over:

Consume 2.5 ml daily with a meal.

For adults:

For heart, brain and vision: Take 5 ml daily with a meal. 5 ml contain 500 mg DHA and 350 mg EPA.
For a normal triglyceride level: Consume 12.5 ml daily with a meal. 12.5 ml contain a total of 2.1 g DHA/EPA.
For normal blood pressure: Take 20 ml daily with a meal. 20 ml contain a total of 3.4 g DHA/EPA.

Instructions: With dosing cup. Store at room temperature and protected from light. Shake before opening. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and use within 6 weeks. Flocculation may occur, but this does not affect the quality of the fish oil.
