Mefix® is a self-adhesive fixation fleece for the secure and reliable fixation of wound dressings, compresses, catheters and cannulas. It is breathable, water-repellent and offers optimum protection against contamination.
How Mefix® works
The porous structure of the non-woven fabric ensures air and water permeability. The material is stretchy, supple and allows for body movement. Furthermore, it is non-absorbent, thus preventing soaking through. The polyacrylate adhesive ensures gentle adhesion whilst providing a secure hold. The protective film is marked at 10 cm intervals and perforated in a wavy pattern for easy and safe removal and application. Mefix can be cut to the desired shape and size. The unique, wave-shaped perforated protective film makes application easier and allows for quick and hassle-free use whilst wearing gloves.
Areas of application
