Midro Tea is an effective and gentle laxative, used in harmony with nature for thousands of years. Midro helps with stubborn cases of constipation without putting strain on the body. Its efficacy and safety have been thoroughly investigated in scientific studies.
Midro Tea contains finely chopped leaves of the senna plant to provide its laxative effect, whilst peppermint, caraway, liquorice root and mallow are added to enhance the flavour.

Directions for use
- Dosage for adults and children over 12 years of age: Take ¼ – 1 measuring spoonful of Midro tea with liquid once daily after dinner.
- The correct dosage for each individual is the amount required to achieve soft stools. As Midro Tea is effective even in small quantities, start with, for example, a ¼ measuring spoon. The dose may be increased on an individual basis up to a maximum of 1 measuring spoon (= 1.6 g).
- It is usually sufficient to take Midro Tea two to three times a week.
- Midro Tea is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, as there is insufficient data available.
Duration of use:
The medicine should not be taken for longer than one week or in higher doses (more than 1 measuring spoon per day). It is usually sufficient to take Midro Tea two to three times a week. If constipation persists for longer than one week, consult a doctor. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you feel that the effect of Midro Tea is too strong or too weak.
Method of use:
Unless otherwise prescribed, there are two ways to take the tea:
- The herbal tea can be brewed with cold or lukewarm water, strained after 20 minutes and drunk. It may be sweetened to taste.
- The herbal tea can be swallowed with plenty of liquid (1 glass of water). After swallowing, the mouth should be rinsed with water.
Midro tea is best taken in the evening. The effect sets in after approximately 8–12 hours.

- What Midro Tea contains: 1 measuring spoon (1.6 g of tea) contains: 1–1.2 g of senna leaves, cut, corresponding to 30 mg of hydroxyanthracene derivatives, calculated as sennoside B.
- Other ingredients: caraway, cut; liquorice root, cut; peppermint leaves, cut; mallow flowers, cut; strawberry leaves, cut.
