Menoflavon Balance, a dietary food, is used to compensate for deficiency symptoms during the menopause such as hot flushes, sweating and exhaustion. In addition to isoflavones from red clover, it also contains calcium and vitamin D3.
The combination of these substances improves mental and physical well-being and reduces the typical complaints of women aged 50 and over. Particularly during the menopause, women often suffer from reduced productivity and a noticeable decrease in vitality. Scientific studies have shown that the isoflavones (genistein, formononetin, daidzein and biochanin A) contained in red clover (Trifolium pratense) can have a positive effect on women's menopausal symptoms. The age-related changes in the female hormone balance and the lack of physical activity as well as a low-calcium diet often lead to degenerative bone loss.
As calcium is the most important mineral in the human body and provides structural strength in the bones, the increased need for calcium with increasing age should be balanced out. The calcium ingested can only be optimally utilised if the body is sufficiently supplied with vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 promotes the absorption of calcium from food. Vitamin D3 is formed in the skin by ultraviolet radiation from the sun. As the body often produces too little vitamin D3 itself, particularly in the winter months due to reduced sunlight, supplementation through food is recommended.
