Meno Albin® is a herbal medicine based on the proven active ingredient of black cohosh - or "cimicifuga" in Latin. It offers gentle and effective help during the menopause.

The ingredients of cimicifuga have a similar effect to the female sex hormone oestrogen - but without containing hormones. The components of black cohosh have been proven to alleviate numerous physical and psychological complaints. Meno Albin® is therefore a good and effective alternative, especially for mild to moderate complaints.

Meno Albin® is taken once a day as a tablet. As with any medicinal treatment, therapy with herbal medicines should be carried out under medical supervision.

Active ingredient

Black cohosh originally comes from North America. It is a herbaceous plant - which reaches a truly impressive size for a herb with growth heights of 0.75 to 2.5 metres. The rhizome is mainly used medicinally.
For centuries, this rhizome extract has been recognised as having a soothing effect on menopausal symptoms. And this effectiveness has now been scientifically tested and proven several times.
Treatment with the active ingredients of black cohosh is considered one of the best herbal alternatives to hormone replacement therapy.
Meno Albin® is a herbal preparation that uses the active ingredient of black cohosh (Cimicifuga) to naturally alleviate menopausal symptoms: effective, gentle and hormone-free.

Directions for use

The recommended dose is Menopausal women: 1 tablet once a day. Women of childbearing age should use effective non-hormonal contraceptive methods while taking this medicine.

Ingredients

Active substance: Cimicifuga rhizome dry extract.

1 tablet contains 4.5 mg dry extract from the rhizome of black cohosh (Cimicifugae rhizoma), drug-extract ratio 5-10:1, extractant ethanol 50% (m/m)

The other ingredients are: maltodextrin, lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, talc, magnesium stearate
