Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica) is botanically speaking not a moss, but a lichen. It is widespread in Europe - preferably at altitudes above 1500 metres. After harvesting in late summer and autumn, the herb is slowly dried in a dark place to preserve the valuable ingredients. Iceland moss contains bitter and mucilaginous substances as well as lichen acids and iodine. Due to its valuable ingredients, it is known to have a positive effect on the respiratory tract and is therefore used in this area in particular - also due to its expectorant properties.

The beautiful flowers of the mallow contain flavonoids and mucilage.

How to use

• Children: 3 to 6 years 2 x 10 ml per day from 6 years 4 x 10 ml per day (10 ml = 1/2 measuring cup = 1 portion).
• Advice: Store away from light and heat. Shelf life 24 months. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within 3-4 weeks.
