Magister Doskar Evening Primrose Oil Capsules are a dietary supplement containing vitamin E. The combination of evening primrose oil and vitamin E helps to support women’s health and combat free radicals.

The evening primrose is a small-flowered plant with yellow blossoms. Its name is no coincidence: the evening primrose only opens its flowers at dusk, which is why it is compared to a candle. Evening primrose oil is extracted from the seeds of the flower and is rich in omega-6 fatty acids. The oil is often added to creams to provide a soothing effect on sensitive skin. Native to North America, the plant was already used by indigenous peoples as a medicinal plant for skin problems.

The body cannot produce the polyunsaturated fatty acids contained in the oil itself, but relies on them being supplied from external sources. Vitamin E protects the cells from oxidative stress by neutralising free radicals in the body.

• VITAMIN E is one of the essential nutrients that the body cannot produce itself. Vitamin E can play a major role in protecting the polyunsaturated fatty acids in cell membranes from oxidation by oxygen radicals. It neutralises the radicals before they can attack the fatty acids.
