Macusan® Areds2 capsules are a dietary food for the dietary treatment of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). With vitamins, trace elements, a carotenoid (lutein) and a plant extract (ginkgo).

It contains a vital substance combination of vitamins, trace elements, a carotenoid (lutein) and a plant extract (ginkgo). The composition is carefully balanced to provide valuable support for the vital substances taken in with food. Lutein and zeaxanthin can contribute to the protection of visual cells. The vital substance combination of vitamins and trace elements contributes to protection against free radicals. Ginkgo has a beneficial and vitalising effect on the entire organism. The circulation-promoting effect is particularly noticeable in the smallest vessels (capillaries). The specific composition is adapted to the particular nutritional requirements in the specified area of application. Macusan® Areds2 is used for the intensive treatment of patients with late AMD.
