- Binds bacteria and fungi: This wound dressing has a water-repellent fatty acid ester coating. This attracts bacteria, which are removed with each dressing change.

- For the treatment of dry to slightly exuding wounds: Well suited for post-operative and traumatic dry to slightly exuding wounds, including surgical incisions, lacerations, cuts and abrasions, gaping wounds and minor burns.
- Sterile: Leukomed Sorbact is supplied sterile.
- For small to medium-sized, low to moderately exuding, infected or infection-prone wounds such as cuts, skin abrasions, scrapes, minor burns or after surgical procedures.
Dosage form
How to use
- Hold the dressing by the blue side and remove the top layer of the first backing film (labelled no. 1).
- Hold the wound dressing firmly on the blue backing film with the adhesive surface facing the wound or the device and stick half of the transparent wound dressing exactly onto the desired area. Now remove the second layer of the backing film (also labelled no. 1).
- Carefully press the transparent film onto the skin, especially at the edges. Full skin contact ensures that the dressing is waterproof and thus forms a barrier against bacteria.
- Now remove the top carrier film by lifting the corner of the blue adhesive tape (labelled no. 2) and carefully peel off this top layer.
- Removal: Peel off the film evenly from one corner to remove the dressing.
