Leukomed® is a sterile wound dressing made of cross-elastic polyester fleece and therefore adapts very well even to highly contoured areas of the body. For use after surgical procedures or accident injuries.

High absorption capacity and special skin compatibility are just two of the many properties that qualify Leukomed for professional use. The sterile wound dressing offers reliable coverage of surgical wounds and accidental injuries of all kinds. Leukomed is made of transversely elastic, supple polyester fleece and therefore adapts very well even to highly contoured areas of the body. The extra soft, absorbent wound dressing made of viscose fleece is coated with polypropylene. This prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound and enables a painless dressing change without impairing wound healing. Leukomed is permeable to air and water vapour, which reduces the risk of skin maceration. The rounded corners prevent the dressing from rolling up and ensure that it remains securely in place. Leukomed can be removed without leaving any residue despite its good immediate and permanent adhesion. Leukomed consists of a polyester fleece backing coated with polyacrylate adhesive, the wound pad is made of a viscose fleece coated with polypropylene.
