How do Lemocin® lozenges work?

Lemocin® ProHYDRO throat tablets do not help to relieve a sore throat. They moisturise the throat and pharynx thanks to the specially balanced formula of natural marshmallow root extract, biotin, vitamin C and sweeteners. Biotin contributes to the normal function of the mucous membranes. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Marshmallow root extract, biotin and vitamin C

The mucous membrane in the throat and pharynx is particularly stressed by many factors: dry air, insufficient fluid intake, intensive speaking or as a side effect of certain medications or illnesses. The mucous membrane is the first line of defence against pathogens and an overstressed throat mucosa can severely impair your well-being. It is therefore important to support the function of the mucous membrane in good time. One way to do this is to keep the mucous membranes moisturised and hydrated. A varied diet also plays a role. This includes sufficient biotin, which contributes to the normal function of the mucous membrane. The mucous membrane in the throat, nose and pharynx is the first line of defence for the body. To support the immune system, Lemocin® Pro Hydro contains vitamin C. This multi-talented vitamin contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Cooling effect due to menthol

If the throat and pharyngeal mucosa feels dry, sucking on moisturising and cooling lozenges is perceived as pleasant. Sucking stimulates the flow of saliva and thus leads to increased moisturisation of the mucous membranes. The menthol flavour it contains has a cooling effect.

Children 4-10 years: 1 - max. 4 lozenges per day, slowly dissolved on the tongue.
Adults and children aged 11 and over: 1 - max. 8 lozenges per day to be slowly dissolved on the tongue.

Ingredients: sweetener sorbitol and erythritol, thickener xanthan gum, flavouring, vitamin C (as L-ascorbic acid), safflower concentrate, colouring agent copper complexes of chlorophyllins, anti-caking agent magnesium salts of fatty acids, marshmallow root extract (Althaea officinalis L.), anti-caking agent silicon dioxide, sweetener steviol glycosides from stevia, biotin (as D-biotin).
