The postnatal compress helps mothers with pain and discomfort after giving birth. It can be used flexibly hot and cold. Thanks to the innovative TheraPearl® ^ColorSmartTM technology, the pearls turn white when warm and purple when cold. The compress is free from lead and latex.

Cooling pain relief

For pain in the genital area, after a caesarean section and for haemorrhoids, the cooled postpartum compress can provide quick relief and reduce swelling. The compress should be frozen for four hours before use. The compress remains pliable and flexible even after freezing and adapts to the shape of the body.

Warming relaxation

The postpartum compress can be warmed and placed on the abdomen during postpartum and breastfeeding labour. It provides relief from cramp-like discomfort when the uterus recedes after the birth. * The postpartum compress can be heated in the microwave or in a pot of hot water. To heat the postnatal compress, please follow the precise instructions in the instructions for use.

After cooling or heating, the compress can be placed in the hygienic protective fleece provided.

Unless otherwise recommended by a healthcare professional, the compress should be used for a maximum of 20 minutes. There should be at least one hour between applications. Prolonged use may cause injury, including burns. Always check the temperature before use.

How to use

After each use, clean the compress thoroughly with mild soap and water or disinfect with isopropyl alcohol (70 %). Please rinse thoroughly until the soap and all residues have been removed. The compress should be allowed to air dry completely before the next use.
