Multi-Mam® compresses are suitable for treating sore nipples and support the natural regeneration of irritated skin. They provide a rapid cooling and soothing effect.

Multi-Mam compresses are used to relieve breastfeeding discomfort such as sore nipples, swelling and hypersensitivity, and have a rapid cooling and soothing effect. The compresses form a soft and comfortable protective layer over the sore nipple. The main ingredient of the product is a plant-based gel that moisturises, provides protection against harmful bacteria and supports the natural healing process. There is no need to remove any residue of the gel before breastfeeding. To keep the use of the compresses as simple and hygienic as possible, each compress is individually wrapped. Also handy for when you’re out and about: the cooling gel is applied to one side of the compresses, so they can be worn under clothing without any worries, as the gel won’t seep through.

Directions for use

• Wash your hands. Open the sachet, unfold the compress and place the side with the gel onto your nipple. Leave the compress in place for as long as necessary, but for at least 10 minutes; ideally 30 minutes, up to a maximum of one hour. Any gel remaining on the nipple does not need to be removed before breastfeeding, as it is safe for the baby even if swallowed. Repeat the treatment at least twice a day until the irritation has cleared. Use each compress for one application only. 
• The compresses should not be used for more than 30 consecutive days. If symptoms persist or recur frequently, you should consult your doctor or your midwife/breastfeeding counsellor.
