InfectoDell® - The effective solution for molluscum contagiosum

InfectoDell contains the active ingredient potassium hydroxide and is used externally to treat molluscum contagiosum. InfectoDell leads to the dissolution of virus-infected cells and thus to a defence reaction of the skin in the area of the molluscum contagiosum. The aim of the treatment is a small and painless inflammation. As soon as this heals, the molluscum contagiosum also heals. InfectoDell is approved for adults and children from 2 years of age.

Correct application is important: Apply InfectoDell sparingly to the molluscum contagiosum twice a day, preferably in the morning and evening. Open the child-resistant cap and carefully remove the spatula. The liquid adhering to it is barely visible to the naked eye. When pulling out, excess liquid is automatically wiped off on an integrated protective insert, as no drops must adhere to the spatula. Apply InfectoDell to all molluscum contusions with the flat side of the spatula. After one to three molluscum contusions, the spatula should be moistened again with InfectoDell. Discontinue use as soon as inflammation indicates that a molluscum contagiosum has healed.

Field of application:

  • For the treatment of molluscum contagiosum

Good to know:

  • Treat molluscum contagiosum quickly and independently
  • Simple - just apply twice a day
  • Saves children invasive forms of therapy (curettage)

How to use

Apply a small amount of InfectoDell to the molluscum contagiosum twice a day with the spatula and allow the solution to dry. The solution dries within seconds when applied according to these instructions for use.

Application:

  1. You must do this before the first application: note the date of the first application on the box. InfectoDell is stable for four weeks after the first opening.ensure very good lighting for each application.
  2. Moisten the spatula with InfectoDell: Always place InfectoDell on a firm and level surface out of the reach of children. The folding box can be used as a stand: Press in the perforation and place the bottle in the resulting opening. Open the child-resistant cap (press and turn to the left at the same time). The bottle contains a protective insert with a small plastic tube. The insert ensures that excess liquid is wiped off.
  3. Apply InfectoDell to the molluscum contagiosum: dab all molluscum contagiosum with the flat side of the spatula and allow the solution to dry. After every 1-3 molluscum contagiosum, you should moisten the spatula again with InfectoDell. If no droplet (the size of a grain of sand) is visible on the molluscum contusion, moisten the spatula again and dab the molluscum contusion once more . Screw the cap back on with the spatula after use. Always keep InfectoDell tightly closed and out of the reach of children.
  4. Repeat the application daily: Apply InfectoDell to the molluscum contagiosum twice daily, preferably in the morning and evening, as described in steps 2 and 3.
  5. Stop the application: Stop the application as soon as an inflammation indicates the healing of a molluscum contagiosum. You can recognise the inflammation by a reddening that lasts for at least 12 hours. Stop using the product after 14 days at the latest, even if there is no inflammation. In this case, consult your doctor. They will decide how to proceed.
  6. Wait for the molluscum contagiosum to heal: the inflammation indicates that your body is fighting the molluscum contagiosum. Be patient and wait for the molluscum contagiosum to heal. Once the inflammation has set in, the molluscum contagiosum usually heals within 1-4 weeks. InfectoDell must no longer be used on inflamed molluscum contagiosum. You can continue to use InfectoDell on molluscum contagiosum that is not yet inflamed, even on newly appearing molluscum contagiosum.

InfectoDell must not be used

  • near the eye
  • on already inflamed molluscum contagiosum
  • on mucous membranes (mouth or genital area), open wounds or scratched skin
