The hot tip against herpes: Herpotherm

Herpotherm® works exclusively with concentrated heat and therefore completely without chemical substances. It is assumed that the heat effect of Herpotherm® in the 51°C range has a positive influence on the release of histamine and degradation enzymes and thus dampens the inflammatory reaction.

The application of concentrated heat (localised hyperthermia) is a physical principle of action based on the brief, concentrated application of heat to a narrowly defined area of skin. Even a localised application of heat can be sufficient to permanently alleviate symptoms such as itching, burning, tingling or a feeling of tightness.

Herpotherm® is very easy to use. First place the device on the affected area of skin and press lightly. After pressing the push button, the ceramic contact surface heats up to approx. 51°C. This temperature is maintained for three seconds before Herpotherm® switches off automatically.
