The adjustable Hansaplast Protective Ankle Support provides stability for weak or injured ankles and offers protection against further injury. The ankle support provides a moderate degree of support during movement and the compression level can be individually adjusted. Dosage form

Bandage - customisable (suitable for the right and left ankle)

Application

Place the arch of the metatarsus on the narrower section of the foot support so that the smooth side of the support lies on the skin. The longer part of the support should be on the outside of the foot and the shorter part of the support on the inside.
Place the longer part of the foot support over the instep towards the heel. Then fasten the shorter part of the foot support to the support using the Velcro fastener.
Wrap the longer part of the support around the Achilles tendon and use the Velcro fastener to adjust the support as required.

Notes: To be used for activities that cause discomfort. Consult your doctor if you have any questions about your symptoms. Only use on clean, uninjured skin. The product should be applied as described. Ensure that the support is neither too tight nor restricting blood circulation. Avoid wearing for long periods of time or while sleeping. Do not use in the case of circulatory disorders or a known allergy to one of the materials mentioned. If skin irritation occurs or the pain persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
