Product information "GynialActiv Moisturising Cream"
GynialActiv Moisturising Cream provides long-lasting moisture for vaginal dryness. The hormone-free formula relieves itching, provides intensive care for the intimate area and supports natural regeneration.
GynialActiv Moisturising Cream is a white to almost white, smooth cream that has been developed for the treatment of vaginal dryness. GynialActiv Moisturising Cream is hormone-free (e.g. oestrogens) and can therefore also be used together with hormone replacement therapy or alternating with hormone-containing vaginal creams or vaginal suppositories.
GynialActiv Moisturising Cream contains benzyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, cetyl stearyl alcohol, lactic acid, sodium lactate, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate and purified water. The vaginal cream is free from fragrances and colourings.

How to use
GynialActiv Moisturising Cream is intended for use in the vagina and on the skin of the external genital area. GynialActiv moisturising cream can be used with or without an applicator. Please wash your hands before using the cream and pay attention to hygiene in the intimate area
The cream can also be used during menstruation
- Before first use: Before using the tube for the first time, unscrew the cap and press it upside down onto the tube opening to open the membrane cap.
- Use without an applicator: For discomfort at the entrance to the vagina and in the external genital area, apply and spread the cream with a clean finger as required, even several times a day. A strip of cream approx. 0.5 cm long is sufficient for this.
- Application with applicator: GynialActiv moisturising cream can be inserted into the vagina using the applicator. To make insertion easier, a small amount of cream can be applied in the area of the vaginal entrance. Please observe the following instructions for use:
- Hold the tube opening upwards, screw the applicator onto the tube opening
- Fill the applicator tube halfway with cream (approx. 2.5 g cream) by applying light, even pressure to the tube (see illustration)
- Unscrew the applicator from the tube
- Carefully insert the applicator as deeply as possible into the vagina. This is best done lying on your back with your legs slightly raised or standing up (as when inserting a tampon). Press on the plunger to empty the applicator and insert the cream into the vagina (see illustration)
- After use, clean the applicator as follows: Press the spherical end of the applicator plunger firmly onto a firm surface. This separates the plunger from the applicator tube. Then carefully clean the plunger and applicator tube separately with warm water until no substance residue remains. Allow the applicator parts to air dry on a clean, dry surface. Once completely dry, reassemble the applicator by inserting the plunger into the tube.
During pregnancy, the cream should be inserted into the vagina without the applicator for safety reasons. Instead, a strand of cream about 2 cm long can be inserted into the vagina with a clean finger
The cream should be applied once a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed (use a panty liner if necessary). Once the symptoms have improved, the frequency of application can be reduced as required.
