Creatine is present in every human cell as a source for the rebuilding of ATP cellular energy. The amount contained in each human body (100 - 150 g) depends directly on body weight and the amount of muscle mass. Of this, 2 - 4 g of creatine is used daily for normal physical activity. About half of this amount is produced by the body itself, the rest must enter the body through food.
