Gello® ultrasound gel , 500 ml

The Gello® ultrasound gel is a colourless contact agent intended for the external application of ultrasound and can be used in therapeutic and diagnostic medicine.

The ultrasound gel is highly viscous, non-dripping; offers very good wetting of the skin and acoustically correct transmission. Suitable for the wide frequency ranges used today in medical ultrasound procedures. The acoustic parameters have been tested by an independent laboratory.

The gel offers maximum penetration depth and the lowest possible self-reflection because it is produced under vacuum without microbubbles. According to dermatological tests, the gel can be classified as harmless with regard to a possible irritating effect on the skin. The concentration of preservatives has been minimised by testing for sufficient preservation and the preservative is formaldehyde-free. The water-based product is fat-free and pH skin-neutral.

How to use

Apply the product directly to the skin area. The amount required depends on the size of the skin area. Even small amounts are sufficient to achieve excellent continuous transmission of ultrasound waves. Ultrasound gel is an aqueous product, so only minimal pressure is required during application to maintain contact with the transducer. Once the application is complete, the gel can be removed by wiping with paper towels
