- Glucosamine & chondroitin: Glucosamine and chondroitin are important endogenous components of joint cartilage and connective tissue. Gelencium® Glucosamine Chondroitin contains these in high doses in the form of glucosamine sulphate (from crustaceans) and chondroitin sulphate (from cattle).
- Frankincense: The frankincense in Gelencium® Glucosamine Chondroitin is obtained from the resin of the Indian frankincense tree (Boswellia serrata). This is why frankincense is also known as Boswellia.
- Vitamins & minerals: Gelencium® Glucosamine Chondroitin also contains high doses of vitamin C, vitamin D, manganese and selenium. These support muscle1, cartilage2 and bone function3 as well as connective tissue formation4. They also contribute to the immune system5, energy metabolism6 and cell protection7:
