Gall Pharma Vitamin B Complex + Folic Acid Capsules are a food supplement with vitamins B1, B6, B12 and folic acid. The B vitamins it contains support the metabolism and contribute to normal nerve function.

The vitamins of the B complex complement each other in their function by contributing to normal energy metabolism in the body. B vitamins also contribute to the normal function of the nervous system and thus to normal mental function. These vitamins are also said to have a number of other positive properties. As these water-soluble vitamins cannot be sufficiently produced or stored in the body, a constant supply through food is necessary.

Folic acid (vitamin B9) belongs to the group of water-soluble vitamins of the B complex. Folic acid is involved in many metabolic reactions, but above all in the processes of cell division, new cell formation and protein metabolism. This shows its importance in development and growth processes. Those who take in too little folic acid can suffer from changes to the mucous membranes or fatigue. During pregnancy, a folic acid deficiency can lead to serious disorders in the development of the embryo. Another protective effect of folic acid results from its involvement in the breakdown of the risk factor homocysteine. This prevents harmful deposits of homocysteine in the blood vessels.
