Milk thistle (also known as lady's thistle) belongs to the Asteraceae family and contains important ingredients such as silymarin, flavonoids, essential oils and resins. Silymarin stimulates the regeneration of liver cells and thus promotes the regenerative powers of the central metabolic organ. Silymarin is contained exclusively in the fruits and protects the liver, strengthening and detoxifying it. As silymarin promotes the liver's ability to regenerate, allowing bile, which is important for digestion, to be produced, milk thistle also stimulates digestion.
Silymarin also protects the cells from free radicals. The combination with the ingredients of artichokes also helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels

Adults: Take 2 x 1 capsule daily with liquid
Ingredients
- Ingredients: Milk thistle seed extract, artichoke leaf extract; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids, capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agent in the capsule shell: calcium carbonate.
- Composition per daily dose (2 capsules): 600 mg milk thistle seed extract and 500 mg artichoke leaf extract.
