Gall Pharma Hawthorn 120 mg capsules, 60 ST

Product information "Gall Pharma Hawthorn 120 mg capsules"
Gall Pharma Hawthorn Capsules are a dietary supplement with 120 mg hawthorn leaves and flowers extract corresponding to 2.4 mg flavonoids per capsule. Has a supporting and strengthening effect on the cardiovascular function.

Hawthorn 120 mg GPH capsules contain 120 mg hawthorn extract from leaves and flowers with a standardised flavonoid content of 2.3 mg in a hard gelatine capsule. The heart and circulation are challenged every day. The heart performs hard labour by pumping blood to supply the body with oxygen and nutrients right down to the last cell. Fatigue, poor performance, tiredness and circulatory problems can be signs of a weak cardiovascular system. Especially in times of increased stress, it can be useful to support the heart and vascular system with hawthorn and ensure a sense of well-being.

Hawthorn (Crataegus) belongs to the rose family (Rosaceae) and can be found in the temperate zones of the northern hemisphere, but also in the southern hemisphere and in the high mountains of the tropics. Various hawthorn parent plants are used: Crataegus laevigata (two-ribbed hawthorn), Crataegus monogyna (one-ribbed hawthorn), Crataegus pentagyna (five-ribbed hawthorn), Crataegus nigra (dark hawthorn) and Crataegus azarolus (azarol hawthorn). The hawthorn grows as a shrub or tree with hard wood, reaches a height of two to eight metres and is popular for its white flowers. The branches are very thorny, which is why the hawthorn is also known as "Hagedorn" (Middle High German "hag" for thorn bush) and is a popular hedge plant. Hawthorn was first mentioned as a remedy in the European cultural area in the first century AD. It is also a component of traditional Chinese medicine. Its constituents are oligomeric procyanidins and flavonoids, which are found particularly in the flowers. The main components are hyperoside and rutoside, as well as glycosylflavones. Other ingredients are neutral polysaccharides, triterpenes, small amounts of biogenic amines, sterols, aminopurines and phenolcarboxylic acids. The interaction of these ingredients leads on the one hand to increased cardiac output and on the other hand hawthorn dilates the blood vessels, especially the coronary vessels, and thus improves the oxygen supply to the heart muscle. Slight circulatory disorders in the heart and decreasing pumping capacity ("old-age heart"), also in connection with high blood pressure, can be positively influenced by the valuable ingredients of hawthorn.
