Gall Pharma Green Tea Extract Capsules, 1750 ST

Gall Pharma Green Tea Extract Capsules contain green tea extract standardised to at least 60 % polyphenols and at least 35 % catechins per capsule. Green tea extract can have a positive effect on fat burning and acts as a free radical scavenger.

Like black tea, green tea (Camellia sinensis) belongs to the tea family (Theaceae). In contrast to black tea, green tea is unfermented and therefore contains a slightly different composition and concentration of ingredients. In addition to vitamins, minerals, trace elements and the biologically active compounds caffeine, theophylline and theobromine, these are polyphenols.

• Radical scavengers: These polyphenolic catechins with the subgroups gallocatechin gallate, epicatechin, epicatechin gallate, epigallocatechin and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) have proven antioxidant activity. Green tea is therefore used as a radical scavenger in cancer prevention, to protect the eyes, skin and immune system and to prevent degenerative diseases.
• Fat burning/fat metabolism: Studies show that EGCG increases fat burning, reduces food absorption in the intestine and consequently reduces body fat gain. This has a positive effect on lipid and tissue metabolism and indirectly also on the risk of coronary heart disease.
• Bladder function/prostate: Studies have also shown that EGCG contributes to the prevention of prostate cancer.
