Collagen is an important building block for the skin, bones and joints, whilst hyaluronic acid helps to keep the skin hydrated.
Collagen Hydrolysate and Hyaluronic Acid GPH Capsules is a nutritional supplement containing a targeted combination of collagen hydrolysate and hyaluronic acid. Collagen is found primarily in connective tissue, tendons and ligaments, but is also an essential component of bones and cartilage. In the skin, collagen is a key building block of connective tissue – after all, 70 per cent of the skin consists of this structural protein. Hyaluronic acid, also a compound produced naturally by the body, is the other key constituent of cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bones. Due to its high structural viscosity, hyaluronic acid has a high water-binding capacity and is therefore responsible for water retention and pressure resistance. The hyaluronic acid in this high-quality product is obtained through fermentation (yeast), whilst the collagen hydrolysate is derived from chicken cartilage. Animal collagen (collagen hydrolysate) is similar to the collagen found in human skin and bones. The amino acid chains are quite short. Consequently, its bioavailability is very high.
