Gall Pharma Carnosine Capsules are a food supplement containing 250 mg of the dipeptide L-carnosine per capsule. The amino acid protects the cells from free radicals, increases the lifespan of the cells and promotes the elasticity and firmness of the skin.

L-carnosine is a multifunctional dipeptide and is a combination of the amino acids beta-alanine and L-histidine. In particular, long-lived cells such as nerve cells and muscle cells show a high carnosine value. Naturally, L-carnosine is only found in animal organisms (muscle, nerve cells and eye lenses), but not in plants.

L-carnosine is a substance that protects and nourishes our functional basis of life - cells, proteins, DNA lipids. It has the remarkable property of rejuvenating cells, restoring their normal appearance and extending cellular lifespan. As an antioxidant, L-carnosine neutralises harmful free radicals. The level of carnosine in the human body decreases with age. Between the ages of 10 and 70, it decreases by 63% in muscle, which corresponds to the normal age-related decrease in muscle mass and muscle function.

L-carnosine supports many metabolic mechanisms and protects against damaging influences.
