Gall Pharma Broccoli Capsules are a food supplement with 250 mg broccoli sprout concentrate standardised to sulforaphane per capsule. Broccoli is rich in minerals and vitamins to support normal immune function.

Broccoli is the most important source of sulforaphane, a glucosinolate (formerly known as mustard oil glycosides). The high levels of selenium, for which broccoli is also characterised, should not be underestimated. Eating broccoli contributes to cell health.

Broccoli belongs to the cruciferous family (Brassicaceae) and is a close relative of cauliflower. Like all other types of cabbage, it comes from a wild form that grows mainly on the Mediterranean and western coasts of Europe. As with cauliflower, the thickened flower heads are eaten.

Broccoli contains the following ingredients:

Vitamin B1, B2, B6 (heart, nerves, muscles)
Vitamin C (immune defence)
Vitamin E (cell protection)
Vitamin A (eyes, skin) Potassium (tissue, muscles)
Phosphorus (bones, energy balance)
Magnesium (bones, teeth, nerves)

Iron (blood formation, respiration)

When broccoli is prepared by steaming or boiling, the content of the important ingredients can be considerably reduced.
