Special toothpaste for remineralisation and caries prevention

GC MI Paste Plus combines all the benefits of GC Tooth Mousse, but with the additional fluoride content (900 ppm) it has an even stronger effect on remineralisation and hardness increase than the pure CPP-ACP complex. GC MI Paste Plus is therefore particularly suitable for patients with a high caries risk.

In addition, they act as the first natural protection system to protect your teeth against acid attacks. They counteract the effects of erosion and wear while preventing sensitisation.

Recaldent™ is obtained from milk protein, casein. It has been known for many years that milk and dairy products protect teeth. Research has shown that this is due to a part of the protein casein called casein phosphopeptide (or CPP). It carries calcium and phosphate ions in the form of amorphous calcium phosphates ("ACP" for short).

Caries prophylaxis
Restoration of the tooth through remineralisation
Restoration of the mineral balance in the oral cavity in patients suffering from saliva problems, such as xeostomia, and in cases where proper oral hygiene is difficult.
Restoring the balance after treatments such as bleaching, professional tooth cleaning, curettage and for desensitising exposed tooth necks.
For loss of tooth structure due to wear, incorrect tooth brushing technique or parafunctions such as bruxism (grinding)
In cases of high caries risk to reduce caries activity
During orthodontic treatment
After the application of external fluorine
As surface protection for people who suffer from erosion, xerostomia (dry mouth) or Sjögren's syndrome

How GC MI Paste Plus works:

When GC MI Paste is applied, the CPP-ACPF molecules attach to the biofilm, plaque, bacteria and surrounding soft tissue, releasing bioavailable calcium, phosphate and fluoride. Saliva flow supports this process, and saliva flow is ideally stimulated by the flavour.

How to use

Apply a sufficient amount of GC MI Paste to the upper and lower jaw with your finger or a cotton swab and spread it out. Apply to the interdental spaces using an interdental brush or dental floss.
Leave to work for at least 3 minutes and then spread the remaining paste in the mouth with the tongue, keeping it in the oral cavity for as long as possible (at least 1-2 minutes), avoiding spitting it out or swallowing it.
The longer GC MI Paste Plus and saliva can act, the better the effect.
Carefully spit out residues, avoiding rinsing if possible. Residues of GC MI Paste Plus can easily remain in the oral cavity.
Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after use.
Contraindications: Casein phospho-peptides are obtained from milk casein. Do not use GC MI Paste Plus if you are allergic to milk proteins or allergic/sensitised to preservatives containing benzoates.
