Eucerin Aquaphor Protect & Repair Ointment protects, soothes and cares for extremely dry, cracked or irritated skin and promotes faster skin regeneration.

The special water vapour-permeable (semi-occlusive) formula forms a protective film on the skin and at the same time prevents a possible build-up of moisture on the skin. This promotes the formation of a physiological skin regeneration environment - a kind of protective shield for the skin - and improves the skin's barrier function. This prevents germs and harmful substances from penetrating the uppermost layers of the skin. In addition, Eucerin® Aquaphor Protect & Repair Ointment with panthenol and bisabolol soothes irritated skin.

• This actively accelerates skin regeneration. The skin's barrier function is improved again.
• In addition to its regenerative properties, the ointment nourishes and soothes the skin; its effectiveness and skin compatibility have been proven in scientific studies for extremely dry, cracked skin and irritated skin in connection with dermatological treatments.
• It is recommended as skin care for xerosis as well as for stressed dry skin, e.g. due to frequent hand washing at work. Eucerin Aquaphor is gentle on sensitive baby skin, e.g. in cold weather and in the nappy area. As it contains a selected number of only 7 ingredients, it has a very low irritation potential and is very well tolerated.

Eucerin Aquaphor Protect & Repair Ointment is suitable for sensitive skin, odourless and does not promote acne or blemishes. It is free from fragrances and alcohol, which could cause irritation or contact dermatitis.

Areas of application

Cares for and protects extremely dry and cracked areas of skin, including

• Elbows, ankles, feet

For skin care and protection of irritated and reddened skin, e.g.

• after dermatological treatments
• after radiotherapy
• in cold, wind and weather
• in the nappy area
• In the case of heavy strain due to sport (running, cycling, swimming, horse riding)

For skin protection and intensive hand care

• after frequent hand washing and/or frequent contact with skin-irritating substances (wet jobs, household, gardening)

• Apply to the affected areas several times a day as required
• Recommended duration of application: at least 3 days Do not apply to open, bleeding or oozing wounds. The rich consistency is very rich and should therefore be applied thinly and sparingly.
