EncorMed Coenzyme Q10 60 mg capsules are a dietary supplement to support the body's energy supply. Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance that is found in the mitochondria of cells, where it plays an important role.

Coenzyme Q10 (Q10) is one of the fat-soluble vitaminoids and is found in high concentrations in the cell nucleus (mitochondria) of organs with high energy requirements. The body produces Q10 itself up to the age of 30, but this ability decreases with increasing age, which is why an adequate supply through the diet is particularly important. A lack of Q10 results in a reduction in energy production in the cells and an increase in the formation of free radicals.
