Embamed® chamomile oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla). The strong blue colour of the oil is created during the distillation process. Chamomile oil has been used since ancient times to treat skin problems as well as respiratory, stomach and intestinal complaints.
