Omega-3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids and it makes sense to consume them daily. Deep-sea fish are particularly rich in these omega-3 fatty acids. As not everyone eats fish every day or is able to follow the recommendation of the German Nutrition Society to eat fish 2-3 times a week, one option is to take omega-3 fatty acids from North Sea sea fish in capsule form. 1 capsule daily with 300 mg omega-3 fatty acids is equivalent to 2-3 fish meals per week.

An optimal combination is obtained with the unsaturated fatty acids from borage and cold-water fish.
