Dr Pandalis Activated Fenugreek Organic Capsules are a dietary supplement with plant-based niacin.

Based on traditional methods, a special method of processing fenugreek was developed after extensive research: activation. This involves subjecting the seeds to a special thermal treatment and mixing them with valuable native vegetable oils and other plant-based components. Proven preparations are combined with the use of modern technology in order to take account of biological usability, flavour and digestibility. Dr Pandalis' process for activating fenugreek is unique. A carefully selected European variety rich in the precursor of niacin is used for the activated fenugreek. Activation converts this into valuable niacin. Activated fenugreek is particularly rich in plant niacin, which supports the maintenance of normal skin.

Fenugreek is one of the oldest cultivated plants known to mankind. Even the ancient Egyptians regarded its aromatic seeds as a tonic and used it as an additive in bread flours and spices. The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) currently has health claims for fenugreek for evaluation:

Fenugreek regulates insulin and blood sugar levels, supports fat metabolism as well as milk production and postpartum recovery.
Niacin is important for the normal function of the nervous system and the psyche as well as for normal energy metabolism, supports the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes and helps to reduce fatigue.

Take 3 Activated Fenugreek Organic Vegan Capsules 3 x daily with liquid.
9 capsules contain approx. 2.7 g activated fenugreek and 9.5 mg plant-bound niacin (corresponds to 59% of the nutrient reference value for niacin according to the Food Information Regulation).
