Dr Ehrenberger Red Clover Extract Capsules are a dietary supplement. Red clover is a natural source of isoflavones (phytohormones), which are similar to the female hormone oestrogen and are therefore also known as phytoestrogens.

These are present in red clover in a natural combination that can be absorbed particularly well by the body. The combination with yams extract and cissus extract rounds off this formula for a regulating influence on the hormone balance of women and men. The well-known medicinal plant expert Hildegard von Bingen already valued red clover. Red clover contains a natural combination of phytohormones that can be absorbed particularly well by the body.

Phytohormones have a regulating effect

The effect of phytohormones also depends on whether the body's own hormone levels are too high or too low. If a level is too high, the phytohormones can dock onto the hormone receptors in the body thanks to their similarity and thus prevent much more potent endogenous hormones from docking and exerting their effect. If the level is too low, on the other hand, they unfold their gentler effect and thus contribute to a balanced hormone level.

Yam extract

The wild Mexican yam is originally native to North and Central America. It is particularly interesting due to its remarkable diosgenin content. Like the sex hormones, diosgenin is a steroid hormone and is used to produce progesterone.

Cissus Quadrangularis

In India, this climbing plant is called Asthisamharaka and has been used there for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine. The tendrils can easily grow to a height of 3 - 4 metres, even though the square stems are usually only as thick as a finger. The secret is the stable structures from which we can also benefit. The declining oestrogen level in women is associated with declining joint health, and this is exactly where cissus comes into play.

Directions

Take 1 capsule 2 x daily with sufficient liquid. We recommend taking in the morning and evening. Best taken with meals.

Ingredients

Ingredients: red clover extract, algae calcium, cissus quadrangularis extract, yam extract, HPMC cellulose (vegetable capsule shell).
Each daily dose (2 capsules) provides 1,066 mg phytohormones and other active plant substances, of which: algae calcium (Lithothamnium Calcareum) 466 mg contains calcium 193 mg 23.9 %*, red clover extract 300 mg contains isoflavones 60 mg, cissus quadrangularis extract 200 mg contains ketosterones 80 mg, yam extract 100 mg contains diosgenin 20 mg. *Nutrient reference value according to the Food Information Regulation.
