- The trace elements zinc, selenium and manganese are so-called all-rounders and are jointly responsible for our immune system, among other things.
- Zinc has a vital function in normal metabolism, fatty acid metabolism, acids and bases, carbohydrates, macronutrients and vitamin A metabolism. Manganese contributes to normal energy metabolism.
- Zinc is significantly involved in protein synthesis and DNA synthesis.
- Zinc contributes to the function of potency, libido, fertility, normal reproduction and cognitive function*. Selenium is necessary for sperm formation and normal thyroid function.
- Zinc is required for normal skin function. The maintenance of normal hair and nails is due to zinc and selenium. Zinc and manganese are needed for normal bones and connective tissue, among other things. Manganese for normal connective tissue formation.
- Selenium and manganese have an antioxidant function and help to protect cells from oxidative stress.
