Dr Jacob's Vitamin DEKA Oil contains all four fat-soluble vitamins in just one drop and is ideal for anyone who wants to do even more for their immune system. Each serving (1 drop) contains 20 µg (800 I.U.) vitamin D3, 12 mg tocopherols (4 mg vitamin E), 20 µg vitamin K2 and 240 µg vitamin A.
Thanks to convincing study results, vitamin D has become much more important in the last decade. It is particularly well known for its function in our immune system. Less well known, but just as important for our immune system: vitamin A
An adequate supply is important as vitamin A is involved in the formation and activation of many immune cells (e.g. antibodies and white blood cells). In many cells, vitamin A works synergistically with vitamin D, as the respective vitamin receptors fuse together. Vitamin A is also required for the integrity of the mucous membranes (e.g. in the intestines and respiratory tract). Although the supply of beta-carotene, the provitamin A, is relatively good, only a small proportion is converted into the active vitamin A (retinol). The intake of retinol therefore makes sense.
In addition to vitamin A, vitamin E is important for cell health. The vitamin is part of the antioxidant system and protects the cells from oxidative stress. Dr Jacob's Vitamin DEKA Oil contains all four natural tocopherols of the vitamin E family.

Vitamins D3 and K2 as an optimal combination for your bones

Vitamins D3 and K2 work together in the storage of calcium in the bones and thus contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D3 causes the formation of osteocalcin (central protein in bone metabolism). Vitamin K2 is needed to activate osteocalcin. Only activated osteocalcin can actually incorporate calcium into the bones.
Instead of high individual doses, calcium is best taken in moderate doses and in combination with magnesium and potassium as in Dr Jacob's alkaline powder. Calcium and magnesium, in combination with vitamins D3 and K2, support the maintenance of normal bones, while potassium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.
The long-chain vitamin K2 (all-trans MK-7) contained in Dr Jacob's Vitamin DEKA Oil is very bioavailable and has a significantly better stability (half-life of approx. 3 days) than vitamin K1 (1-2 hours).

Fat-soluble vitamins in safe doses

According to the maximum intake values of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the dosage of the vitamins contained in Dr Jacob's Vitamin DEKA Oil is safe.
For vitamin D, the EFSA derives a daily intake of 100 µg (4000 I.U.) of vitamin D from all sources as safe (tolerable) for persons aged 11 years and older. The maximum daily intake of vitamin E from all sources for adults is 300 mg α-TE. The maximum daily dose of vitamin A from all sources is 3000 μg RE. This is only consumed with 10 drops of vitamin DEKA oil. An oversupply of vitamin K and possible side effects have not yet been observed in healthy people.

For adults and children over 1 year: 1 drop daily (1 portion).
For infants: 1 drop every 2nd day.
Higher doses may be indicated for health reasons.
