Vitamin D3 is a true all-rounder that is found in every cell and has a positive effect on many processes in the human body. It is indispensable for our immune system, makes a significant contribution to healthy muscle function and also promotes bone structure and dental health. Vitamin D3 occupies a special position among the vitamins because the body can produce it itself in the skin with the help of sunlight. In Central Europe, however, sunlight is unfortunately often too weak to enable sufficient production of vitamin D by the sun.

In addition, we often spend a lot of time indoors and very little outdoors. This means that even in the summer months, we don't get enough exposure to the sun. The older we get, the less vitamin D3 our body produces. Studies show that schoolchildren and senior citizens in particular often have a vitamin D deficiency.

The Austrian, German and Swiss Nutrition Societies recommend that adults take 800 I.U. (I.U. = International Units) of vitamin D per day to cover their vitamin D requirements. You can achieve this amount with just one capsule of Dr. Böhm® Vitamin D3 every 2 days.

Directions

Take 1 capsule every 2 days unchewed with a little liquid. The capsules can be swallowed independently of a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dose. There is an increased need in the low-light season, during the cold season and in the autumn and winter months.
