Dr Böhm® Valerian 450 mg forte coated tablets contain a high-dose dry extract of valerian root. To relieve insomnia, one tablet is usually sufficient about half an hour before going to bed.

Dr Böhm Valerian 450 mg forte is a herbal medicinal product made from the root of valerian (Valerianae radix), with calming and tension-relieving properties to promote sleep readiness and improve the quality of sleep. Herbal medicinal product for the relief of sleep disorders and mild restlessness.

This medicine is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. If you do not feel better or even worse after 2 weeks, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age:

• To relieve insomnia: 1 coated tablet half an hour to an hour before going to bed. If necessary, take an additional 1 tablet earlier in the evening.
• To relieve mild restlessness: 1 coated tablet 3 times a day.

Use in children: Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.

Route of administration: Oral use. The coated tablets should be taken whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of water).

Duration of use: Dr Böhm 450 mg Valerian forte is not suitable for the acute treatment of sleep disorders. As the maximum effect only occurs after 2-4 weeks, continuous use is recommended. If you do not feel better or even worse after 2 weeks, consult your doctor.
