- The essential amino acid L-tryptophan, which the body cannot produce itself, is important for the production of serotonin, the so-called ‘happiness hormone’.
- B vitamins and the mineral magnesium perform important functions within the body that support the nervous system.
- Passion flower has been valued as a medicinal plant for centuries for its calming and relaxation-promoting effects.
- The peptide alpha-casozepine is produced in the intestines of kittens during the digestion of their mother’s milk. It is credited with the calming effect of suckling. This modern ingredient has also been studied in adult animals (cats and dogs). ¹ ² ³ ⁴
Dosage form
Usage
- Dogs up to 10 kg body weight – 1 chew
- Dogs weighing up to 25 kg – 2 chews
- Dogs weighing over 25 kg – 3 chews
- Notes: Please ensure water is available at all times. Please store in a cool, dry place.
- Long-term administration of the chews over an extended period: e.g. when introducing new pets, moving to a new home or generally for anxious animals.
- Short-term use of the chews:
For acute, short-lived situations such as visits to the vet or New Year’s Eve.
Ingredients
- Composition: Turkey meat, dried turkey, cassava starch, dried chicken, glycerine, brewer’s yeast, chicken fat, milk protein hydrolysate (3.8%, alpha-casozepine 0.07%), salmon oil (2 per cent), passion flower extract (0.5 per cent), magnesium (0.3 per cent), sodium chloride.
- Analytical constituents: Crude protein 23 per cent, crude fat 11.5 per cent, crude fibre 3 per cent, crude ash 9.8 per cent, moisture 20 per cent.
- Additives (nutritional) per kg:
