- Glucosamine and chondroitin: Glucosamine and chondroitin are substances of animal origin. Glucosamine is a special protein structure, a so-called amino sugar. Glucosamine is a structural component of the shell of shrimps, while chondroitin belongs to the group of glucosamine glycans.
- Vitamin C: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) contributes to normal collagen formation and thus to the normal function of cartilage.
- Copper: The trace element copper contributes to the maintenance of connective tissue, which forms the supporting and stabilising structures of the body.
- Zinc: The trace element zinc can contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.
