Essential amino acids combined with important B vitamins
Amino acids are the basis of all proteins. They are of paramount importance for us humans. Chains are formed from 21 different amino acids in many different combinations to form different proteins.
Of the 21 amino acids, 9 are essential for adults, which means that they cannot be produced by the body itself and must therefore be obtained from our diet. Naturally protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs and dairy products contain many amino acids. Plant-based alternatives include pulses, wheat germ, nuts and seeds.
Doppelherz system AMINOSÄUREN ESSENTIELL combines the following 9 essential amino acids with vitamins B6 and B12 in a daily portion of 5 capsules:
- 210 mg L-histidine (His)
- 420 mg L-isoleucine (Iso)
- 819 mg L-leucine (Leu)
- 630 mg L-lysine (Lys)
- 218.4 mg L-methionine (Met)
- 525 mg L-phenylalain (Phe)
- 315 mg L-threonine (Thr)
- 84 mg L-tryptophan (Try)
- 546 mg L-valine (Val)
BCAA - a group of amino acids
Doppelherz capsules also contain the three amino acids L-valine, L-leucine and L-isoleucine. Together they form the group of branched-chain amino acids. They are known as "Branched Chain Amino Acids", abbreviated to BCAA.
Vitamin B6 and B12 for the metabolism
Vitamin B6 - a contribution to:
- normal cysteine synthesis
- normal energy metabolism
- normal protein and glycogen metabolism
- the normal function of the nervous system
Vitamin B12 - a contribution to:
- normal homocysteine metabolism
- normal energy metabolism
- the function of cell division
- the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
- normal psychological function
- Normal function of the nervous system
For athletes and stressed people: vitamin B6 + B12
Our energy, performance and nervous system also depend on how well we supply our body with nutrients. Vitamins B6 (pyridoxine) and B12 (cobalamin) play an important role here, as they are involved in countless metabolic processes.
Athletes in particular - whether endurance sports, strength training or competitive sports - are recommended to consume sufficient amounts of vitamins B6 and B12, as they support normal energy metabolism. They also contribute to the normal formation of red blood cells, which ensure the transport of oxygen in the blood.
Vitamin B12 helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue and vitamin B6 also supports normal protein and glycogen metabolism. Vitamin B6 and B12 can also support people who are under a lot of stress at work or in everyday life. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal mental function, the function of the nervous system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Like vitamin B12, vitamin B6 also supports the normal function of the nervous system.
Different amino acid requirements
How high the need for amino acids is depends on many individual factors. Physical exertion at work or during sport, an unbalanced diet and increasing age can increase the need for amino acids. Anyone belonging to one of these groups should therefore ensure that their intake of essential amino acids is appropriate for their situation.
If the intake of amino acids is insufficient, the diet can be specifically supplemented with Doppelherz system AMINO ACIDS ESSENTIAL.
Different value of different foods:
Proteins from plant and animal foods differ in their utilisation, absorption and composition of amino acids. Animal proteins in foods usually contain all the essential amino acids, whereas plant foods often do not contain the full spectrum of amino acids. Plant-based foods must therefore be properly combined in order to achieve a balanced ratio of essential amino acids.
Doppelherz system Amino Acids contains all 9 essential amino acids in a balanced ratio and constant quantity. Vitamin B6 and B12 are also included.
