Lactose intolerance is caused by insufficient or too low lactase activity and means that the milk sugar (lactose) ingested with food cannot be optimally digested.

In people who have problems digesting lactose, lactase improves lactose digestion. There are differences in lactose tolerance. The personal lactase requirement depends on the body's own lactase production and the amount of lactose ingested with food. Doppelherz Lactase 24.000 contains the enzyme lactase in a high dosage - and thus supports your body in being able to process food and drinks containing lactose better again!

Lactose is the milk sugar found in milk. In order to digest lactose, the intestine needs lactase - an endogenous enzyme that breaks down lactose. If this enzyme is no longer produced sufficiently by the body, lactose can no longer be processed. This is known as lactose intolerance. The unpleasant symptoms of lactose intolerance can include abdominal pain, bloating, flatulence, constipation or diarrhoea.

Lactase helps with the digestion of lactose

Doppelherz Lactase 24.000 simply supplies our body with the enzyme lactase and thus supports the natural utilisation of lactose. One Doppelherz mini tablet contains 24.00 FCC units.

The food supplement does not affect the body's own lactase production. Instead, the lactase it contains is limited to the breakdown of lactose present in food. The mini tablets are therefore suitable for regular and long-term consumption - for the carefree enjoyment of lactose-containing foods and drinks.

How to use

Take 1 tablet immediately before or during the consumption of products containing lactose with a little liquid.
Advice: Not suitable for children under 12 years of age. People who are affected by lactose intolerance should seek advice about their diet.
