Dolgit akut® pain gel, 50 mg/g gel, 50 G

Dolgit akut® Pain Relief Gel, 50 mg/g gel, is a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory over-the-counter medicine for topical application to the skin, containing the active ingredient ibuprofen.

The active ingredient ibuprofen contained in Dolgit akut Pain Gel is rapidly absorbed through the skin and thus reaches the affected tissue areas directly.

Dolgit akut Pain Gel has pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. Swelling subsides rapidly; mobility is noticeably improved. The effect sets in after about 30 minutes and lasts for several hours.

Dolgit Acute Pain Gel is gentle on the skin, easy to apply, is quickly absorbed, is non-greasy and has a pleasant scent.

Indications

For general or supportive external treatment of:

• Lumbago
• Pain and swelling following non-bleeding (blunt) injuries, such as sports injuries and accident-related injuries
• Muscle tension

For use in adults and young people aged 14 and over. If you do not feel any better, or if your condition worsens, after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: 3 times a day, depending on the size of the area to be treated, apply a 4–10 cm strip of gel, corresponding to 2–5 g of gel (100–250 mg ibuprofen). The maximum total daily dose is 15 g of gel, equivalent to 750 mg of ibuprofen.
• Children and adolescents under 14 years of age: There is no experience of use in children and adolescents under 14 years of age; therefore, Dolgit Acute Pain Gel must not be used in this age group.
• Method and duration of use: Apply the gel to intact skin and rub in over a large area. Concomitant treatment with oral ibuprofen preparations is possible. If symptoms persist for longer than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Ingredients

• The active ingredient is: ibuprofen. 1 g of gel contains 50 mg of ibuprofen. 1 g of gel corresponds to approximately a 2 cm strip of gel.
• The other ingredients are: dimethylisosorbide, 2-propanol, poloxamer, medium-chain triglycerides, bitter orange blossom oil (contains benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, citral, citronellol, coumarin, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, limonene/d-limonene, linalool), lavender oil (contains citral, geraniol, citronellol, farnesol, limonene/d-limonene, linalool), purified water.
