Dolgit akut® pain gel, 50 mg/g gel, 50 G

Dolgit akut® Schmerzgel, 50 mg/g gel is a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory over-the-counter medicine for rubbing onto the skin, with the active ingredient: ibuprofen.

The active ingredient ibuprofen contained in Dolgit acute pain gel is rapidly absorbed by the skin and thus reaches the affected tissue areas directly.

Dolgit acute pain gel has a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect. Swelling subsides quickly; the ability to move is noticeably improved. The effect sets in after about 30 minutes and lasts for several hours.

Dolgit acute pain gel is skin-friendly, easy to spread, absorbs quickly into the skin, is non-greasy and has a pleasant odour.

Indications

For external general or supportive treatment of

• Lumbago
• Pain and swelling after bloodless (blunt) injuries, e.g. sports and accident injuries
• Muscle tension

For use in adults and adolescents aged 14 and over. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: 3 times daily, depending on the size of the area to be treated, 4 - 10 cm of gel, corresponding to 2 - 5 g of gel (100-250 mg ibuprofen). The maximum total daily dose is 15 g gel corresponding to 750 mg ibuprofen.
• Children and adolescents under 14 years of age: There is no experience of use in children and adolescents under 14 years of age, therefore Dolgit acute pain gel must not be used in this age group.
• Method and duration of use: Apply gel to intact skin and rub in extensively. Simultaneous therapy with ibuprofen preparations for oral use is possible. If symptoms persist for longer than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Ingredients

• The active ingredient is: Ibuprofen 1 g gel contains 50 mg ibuprofen. 1 g of gel corresponds to about 2 cm of gel.
• The other ingredients are Dimethylisosorbide, 2-propanol, poloxamer, medium-chain triglycerides, bitter orange blossom oil (contains benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, citral, citronellol, coumarin, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, limonene/d-limonene, linalool), lavender oil (contains citral, geraniol, citronellol, farnesol, limonene/d-limonene, linalool), purified water.
