Directions for use
- It is recommended to seek advice from a vet before use (particularly when mixing with milk) or before extending the feeding period. Simultaneous feeding of milk should be avoided in animals with a abomasum. Prepare each meal in accordance with the table below and administer it promptly before gel formation occurs. The time taken for preparation and administration should not exceed 20 minutes. Diaproof Pro should not be administered simultaneously with antispasmodics or other electrolytes.
- (1) Milk feeding should continue separately. If milk feeding was interrupted during the diarrhoea episode, milk feeding should be gradually resumed after administering Diaproof Pro, using a mixture of half milk and half water. For small breeds, the meal size may be reduced: the dose of Diaproof Pro should be adjusted in line with the amount of water.
