Desloratadine Genericon contains desloratadine, which is an antihistamine. Desloratadine Genericon is an anti-allergic medicine that does not make you drowsy. It helps to control your allergic reaction and its signs.

Desloratadine Genericon improves the signs of allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by an allergy, such as hay fever or house dust mite allergy) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. These signs include sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy palate and itchy, red or watery eyes.

Desloratadine Genericon is also used to eliminate symptoms associated with urticaria (a skin condition caused by an allergy). These include itching and wheals.

The removal of these symptoms lasts a whole day and helps you to resume your normal daily activity and sleep.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 10 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents (from 12 years of age): Take one film-coated tablet once daily.
How to take: Swallow the film-coated tablet whole with water during or between meals.
Duration of treatment: The duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and course of your symptoms. Consult a doctor if your symptoms persist or worsen. Treatment of intermittent allergic rhinitis (symptoms occur less than 4 days per week or last less than 4 weeks) depends on your previous course of illness and can be discontinued after the symptoms have subsided and resumed if they recur . If your allergic rhinitis is persistent (symptoms occur on 4 or more days per week and last for more than 4 weeks), a longer course of treatment is recommended. In the case of urticaria, the duration of treatment may vary from patient to patient. You must therefore follow your doctor's instructions.

Ingredients

The active substance is: desloratadine 5 mg.
The other ingredients are: Microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol (E421), magnesium stearate, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, titanium dioxide (E171), indigo carmine (E132).
