- Dermatix® Ultra is a silicone gel to be applied to the skin. It is invisible and dries quickly. During the treatment of scars resulting from operations, burns and injuries, it helps to maintain the skin's moisture balance.
- Dermatix® Ultra has a proven flattening, softening and smoothing effect on scars. It reduces pain, itching and scar discomfort as well as scar-related redness.
- Dermatix® Ultra is a light, non-greasy gel that can be easily applied to all areas of the skin, including the face, joints and other areas of the body that are exposed to high levels of movement. It dries quickly to form an invisible film and leaves the skin feeling clean and silky.
- Dermatix® Ultra was developed using essentially the same long-chain polymers that are used in silicone gel films for external application. It is available as a gel in a tube. The gel contains cyclic and polymeric siloxanes as well as vitamin C esters.
Dosage form
How to use
- Apply Dermatix® Ultra twice daily for at least two months. A longer treatment period may be necessary for scars that are difficult to treat. Dermatix® Ultra is also suitable for children.
- Please remove the foil from the opening of the 60 g tube before the first application; for the smaller tube sizes, please carefully cut off the tip of the tube. Clean the area of skin to be treated and then dab dry. Dermatix® Ultra should only be used on clean and dry skin. Gently apply a small amount of Dermatix® Ultra to the scar. Wipe off the excess gel with a lint-free cloth to avoid soiling clothing. Cosmetics and make-up can easily be applied over the Dermatix® Ultra treated scar once it is completely dry.
