Strataderm silicone gel, 50 G

Strataderm is a transparent, self-drying, non-adhesive silicone gel for external use on old or fresh, closed and dry scars. With Strataderm, you can improve the appearance of scars simply and comfortably through consistent application.

Thanks to its special composition, the silicone gel forms a water-impermeable film on the skin after a few minutes. This protects the tissue while allowing it to breathe.

How to use

• Strataderm should be applied once a day for at least 60 to 90 days.
• It can be used on all skin areas, including hairy skin or children's skin.
• Once the gel has dried, sun protection or make-up can be applied on top.
• It is usually applied once a day.

The scar must be clean and dry. A very thin layer of Strataderm is applied to the skin. The gel should dry within 3-4 minutes. If it is not dry after a few minutes, you may have used too much. In this case, you can carefully remove the excess gel with a tissue and allow the remaining gel to dry.

Strataderm only needs to be applied once a day. If the scar is located in an area that is subject to particular stress (e.g. on the hand, which frequently comes into contact with water), it is advisable to apply Strataderm twice a day. To achieve optimum results, Strataderm should be allowed to work on the skin continuously (24 hours). The larger and/or older the scar, the longer the application time. In general, it is recommended to use Strataderm until no further improvement of the scar can be seen.
